Message The power steering fluid gets in everywhere. I honestly don't think the fluid on the brushes is an issue. What happens is the fluid gets in the heat sinks for the diodes, collects dust and clogs them up so air can't flow through them anymore. They overheat and die. I thought about trying to find replacement diodes to rebuild mine, but I've gotten busy with other projects.
